This notice applies to the Her First Investment website, webinar registration, webinar communications and related support. In this notice, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the organisation operating Her First Investment.

1. Information we collect

We may collect:

• your first name, email address and WhatsApp or telephone number;
• the investing-experience response you choose to provide;
• your webinar registration, reminder, attendance and support records;
• information you send when you contact us; and
• technical and advertising information such as IP address, device, browser, page activity, referral source and UTM campaign identifiers.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through our website and tracking technologies, and from providers that support registration, webinar delivery and advertising.

2. How we use your information

• reserve and administer your webinar seat;
• send your confirmation, Zoom link, schedule updates and reminders by email and WhatsApp;
• provide webinar materials and respond to support requests;
• prevent spam, misuse and duplicate registrations;
• understand attendance and improve our pages, classes and communications;
• measure advertising and registration performance, including through Meta Pixel; and
• send information about relevant programmes where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.

You can opt out of promotional messages at any time. Essential registration and schedule messages may still be sent while your webinar registration remains active.

3. Cookies and tracking

Our website or publishing platform may use cookies and similar technologies to operate forms, remember preferences, protect the site, understand page use and measure advertising. Meta Pixel may tell Meta that a page was viewed or a registration was completed. Your browser and Meta settings may provide controls for this activity.

4. Who we may share information with

We may provide only the information needed to authorised personnel and providers supporting customer management, form processing, hosting, security, analytics, advertising, Zoom, email and WhatsApp. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or authorities where permitted or required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

5. International processing

Some technology providers may process information outside Malaysia. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate providers, contractual protections and other safeguards.

6. Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, to maintain necessary business and opt-out records, or to meet legal obligations. We then delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent, stop direct marketing, limit certain processing, or ask how your information is being used. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Adults only

The webinar and this website are intended for adults aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly seek registration information from children.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes to our services, providers or legal obligations. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
